The Debate: Salt vs Sea Salt

The topic and basically, the marketing of seasalt has not really been a big deal up until the past ten years or so. When you compare salt vs sea salt in any test: lab tests, sea salt diet vs salt diet, just taste tests, sea salt wins every time. I think that America has gotten so used to eating processed foods that we have forgotten the salt that the earth has given us: seasalt. Seasalt is natural, and though it does not contain iodine, it is hands down better than regular, over processed salt. The salt vs sea salt controversy has two sides, basically the people that do not think over processed foods harm us slowly, and those that live on a sea salt diet. Those that live on a sea salt diet firmly believe that seasalt is the only way to eat salt, and for a lot of reasons, they are right. Salt vs sea salt can lead to a whole plethora of debates, but the sea salt diet, one that eliminates most if not all foods that contain regular refined salt, and replaces them with seasalt usually wins. Because seasalt is straight from the earth, it is naturally better for our bodies. Their biggest argument in salt vs sea salt is that if we only ate things that roamed freely and things that came out of the ground without human help or processing, we would all be healthier. I actually have to side with the seasalt people.
