“And I stood upon the sound of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” (Revelation 13:1). The two beasts talked about in Revelation Chapter 13 represented Satan’s forces of which one is political and the other one is religious.
Revelation chapter 13 started with a beast that is otherwise known as Antichrist rising up out of the sea which represents the nations of the world. The beast or little horn as referred to in the book of Daniel is also the false messiah that will be the final world ruler.
“I considered the horns and behold, there come up among them another little horn before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and behold in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man and a mouth speaking great things.” (Daniel 7:8).
The second coming is when Jesus Christ will return to the earth in fulfillment of His promises and prophecies made about him. It is the time of Second Advent from the Latin word “adventus” meaning “coming”. Nobody, except God the Father knows the exact day and hour when Jesus Christ will return to the Earth.
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father”. (Matthew 24:36)
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time or night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house broken into. So, you also must be ready because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him”. (Matthew 24:42-44).
The last days therefore will be days of reckoning when everybody will give account of what he/she had done in this sinful world, either good or bad. Unexpected events will be happening on the last days. The truth is that the end time is a dangerous time of uncertainty for the Christians and it will get more intense as we get deeper into the last days.
